PM tells kids how to handle exam stress
Mumbai:
Several schools here organised a
telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with students —
Pariksha pe charcha — in the middle of examinations and exam prep on
Friday.
Taking questions from students countrywide, the PM
gave them lessons on how to deal with exam stress, handle peer pressure
and how to boost selfconfidence.
“His success mantra was very simple but effective.
I have decided that to ace my board exams, all I have to do is shed my
fears, have confidence in my abilities and focus on my goals,” said
Aasavari Pande, a student of the Army Public School, Colaba.
Around 250 class IX-XII students viewed the interaction in the school auditorium.
The interaction, scheduled at 11am, was pushed to noon.
The PM touched a chord with students when he said
“marks are not life”. Principals said it was important for students to
know that. Some schools gave the interaction a slip as exams were on. TNN
